Following the initial onsite investigation works, it has become clear that the repair required is more extensive than first anticipated. This stoppage will therefore be extended until 13 March to allow the investigation to be completed and for any necessary repairs to be carried out. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

A stoppage is required to investigate and repair a leak in the bed of the canal near Littleborough. This stoppage will be in place from 26 January to 27 February. Please note that nearby Lock 14 will also be closed during this period, as previously advertised. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
