Please see below the opening arrangements for Frankton Locks during the Christmas and New Year period:
- Sunday 21 December to Wednesday 24 December – OPEN
- Thursday 25 December to Sunday 28 December – CLOSED
- Monday 29 December to Wednesday 31 December – OPEN
- Thursday 1 January 2026 – CLOSED
- Friday 2 January 2026 onwards – OPEN as normal
Online booking is available. Please book your passage online in advance.
- Bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to the day of passage.
- Bookings are not accepted on the day of passage.
- Opening hours: 09:00–13:00 daily.
Please note that a return passage must be entered at the time of booking.
There is a minimum stay of 1 day and a maximum stay of 14 days after entering the Montgomery Canal.
