Towpath and Canal at Bridge 8, Park Bridge, Coven, Stafford

Third-party contractors working on behalf of National Grid will be undertaking statutory vegetation clearance works to maintain overhead power lines above the canal.

Works will be carried out just north of Bridge 8, Park Bridge, using a mobile elevating work platform, with no access required onto the towpath or the canal.

However, as trees overhang both the towpath and the canal, signage and banksmen will be in place to manage traffic.

The canal and towpath will remain open throughout the works, although users are kindly asked to follow the instructions and signage provided by the third-party contractors.
