Work are scheduled for the week commending 12.01.2026 to complete a repair.

We will update this notice by 16.01.2026 once we have more information from our regional team and contractors.

The Hertford Union will remain closed indefinitely at this time. We will have an inspection from our engineers by 19.12.2025.

We will be able to publish our estimated timeline for any remedial works and the estimated closure length in the New Year.

The damage will be assessed by our engineers to design any possible repair. Update to follow.
