Picture of the fallen tree
A tree has fallen and is currently blocking navigation at Clarence Mill in Bollington on the Macclesfield canal. Our teams have attended the site, however due to the size of the tree we need to instruct our specialist contractor to assist with the removal. At present, we are unable to confirm when the contractor will be on site as adverse weather conditions from recent strong winds are impacting our waterways across the North West and causing delays. We will provide a further update during the weekend.
