The navigation and towpath remain closed at Belmont Road Bridge following a bridge strike. We will issue a further update as soon as additional information becomes available.

Both the navigation and towpath are currently closed at Belmont Road Bridge on the Digbeth Branch of the Birmingham & Fazeley canal due to a bridge strike. The police have cordoned off the area for safety.
We will provide an update as soon as we receive further information.
