Lock 88, Oxford Street

Whilst the planned navigation closure is underway at the nearby Lock 81, we are taking the opportunity to schedule a navigation closure to carry out grouting works at Lock 88.  Grouting is a repair method where special cement is injected into cracks or gaps in the lock's structure. This helps stop leaks, strengthens the lock, and keeps it working well for years to come.  The need for these works has been recently identified so we are combining the works alongside Lock 81 to minimise customer impact. Please note that the towpath will also be closed during this period.
