Our teams have been working throughout the week to remove the large number of fallen trees in the North West following Storm Claudia.
We have not yet been able to reach all affected sites, but we are working through them as quickly as possible, and our teams remain focused on reopening our navigations and towpaths. We will provide further updates as soon as they become available.
We would like to thank our customers for reporting these issues, and we appreciate your patience as we continue to work across multiple affected locations. We will provide a further update on or before Friday, 28 November

A large tree has fallen and is currently blocking navigation at Bridge 123 on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. Due to the size and position of the tree we need to instruct our specialist contractor to assist with the removal.
At present, we are unable to confirm when the contractor will be on site as adverse weather conditions from Storm Claudia are impacting our waterways across the North West and causing delays.
We will provide a further update on or before Monday 24 November.
