Third-party contractors will be onsite at the crest of Barrowford Reservoir on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to begin ground investigations relating to the proposed new steelwork platform being installed, with replacement signage around the reservoir.
The works are on behalf of Kier and will be taking place between Monday 12th January at 7am until Friday 13th February at 6pm.
Whilst the towpath running adjacent to the canal will remain open, pedestrians must not use the towpath around the reservoir during the works.
We ask all towpath users to approach the area with caution.
