Towpath between Spon Lane Roadbridge and Railway Bridge adj Steward Aqueduct, Oldbury

Please be advised that third-party contractors will be carrying out tree-planting works between Spon Lane Road Bridge and Aqueduct 1 (Steward Aqueduct). Banksmen and appropriate signage in place to safely manage towpath traffic. The canal will also remain open as normal.

The works were originally scheduled for November but were postponed by the contractors. They are now planned to take place from 01/12/25.

Please follow all signs and any directions given by the third-party contractors.
