Please be advised we have managed to fix the detached handrail plank. The lock will be reopened but the overnight stoppage restrictions will continue at Commercial Road Lock between 15:45 and 08:00. We will continue to review on a regular basis, and remove once situation improves.

Please be advised that commercial lock will be closed for the foreseeable due to damage sustained from a boat strike.

Overnight closures will continue for the foreseeable future to protect water levels and boater safety.

Due to ongoing water management requirements this overnight closure will remain in place indefinitely.    We will review on a regular basis, and remove as soon as the situation improves.

We have made the decision to extend the overnight closures for the foreseeable.

We will review these restrictions again on the 12th of December.

Please be advised the overnight stoppage restrictions are continuing at Commercial Road Lock between 15:45 and 08:00. We will be reviewing this again on the 5th December.
