North of Dimmingsdale Bridge and several locations south to Caunsall Bridge

Contractors have cleared the multiple fallen trees along this section. The only remaining obstruction affecting the Staffs & Worcester canal is the tree located on the north side of Dimmingsdale. We will provide a further update later today once we have confirmation on its status.

At least four trees are down across the canal and towpath between Dimmingdale and Cookley. We are working with contractors and the local team to get these prioritised and removed, but please be aware that we are dealing with at least 40 trees across our area at the moment, so it may take a few days to get everything cleared and open. We will update this notice regularly with more information.
