Tuel Lane Lock Booking (Lock 1 to Lock 4)- Winter passage booking information 2025/2026 - last passage of 2025 is Friday 19th December reopening from 9th January 2026.

As we are approaching the Christmas Period, the last passage through Tuel Lane Lock will be on Friday 19th December 2025. Please contact the Customer Services Team on 03030 404040 (Mon - Fri, 8am - 4:30pm) to arrange the booking. There will be no other passage after this until the 9th January 2026.

Now we are approaching the winter season, we will not have regular weekly sessions where volunteers assist passage between locks 1 and 4 of the Rochdale Canal.   If you do want to move your boat between the locks in this stretch, during this quieter season,  please contact our Customer Service team on 03030 404040, giving a minimum of seven days' notice, and we will work with you to arrange passage.
