Contractors will be working from Lady Lane Wharf down towards Hockley Heath from Thursday 11th December 2025 until 29th January 2026.
Mooring holders will not be asked to move, but boaters should be aware that works will be taking place along this section and may experience minor delays while contractors are on site.

Please note that the works will now continue until 18th February 2026, rather than concluding at the end of January.

Dredging works will be taking place on the North Stratford Canal between Kings Norton Junction and Lapworth Lock 7 from 10th November until the end of January.
Boaters may experience delays of up to 30 minutes while works are underway. Pedestrians are advised that dredging activity will also be taking place along sections of the towpath.
Our contractor, Ebsford, will be installing signage along the route to inform customers and boaters as the works progress.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation while these essential dredging works are carried out to maintain safe navigation.
