Lock 7 (Dallow Lock) to Bridge 33 (Shobnall Road Bridge)

Two trees along this section have been identified as unsafe and will need to be removed by our contractors. To ensure the safety of boaters, the public, and our contractors, it will be necessary to close sections of both the navigation and the towpath while these works are carried out.

One tree is located at Dallow Lock (Lock 7) on the offside and will require closure of the lock during the works. The second tree is situated opposite Raven's Way and will require a navigation and towpath closure between the Raven's Way access point and Bridge 33 (Shobnall Road Bridge).

These works have been scheduled to take place within the existing stoppage window at Lock 10 (Barton Turns) to minimise disruption to our customers. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation while we complete these essential safety works.
