We have not yet managed to clear this tree, however, this part of the navigation remains closed due to low water levels. We will update this notice as soon as we have further information.

A tree has fallen into the navigation north of Gilberts Bridge 2 on the Welford Arm of the Grand Union canal at https://w3w.co/position.extra.corrects partially restricting the navigation.

We are working to clear this as soon as possible; in the meantime, please pass with care if you are able to navigate whilst there are low water levels Welford Lock 1 | Canal & River Trust.
