Following a recent inspection, our teams have identified a fault with the bridge. While our contractors have been able to keep the bridge operational in the short term, replacement parts are required to complete a permanent repair. These parts have now been ordered.
Our team will be on site at Bridge 20, Wrenbury Swing Bridge, to replace both hydraulic cylinders starting Monday, 13 October, from 7am. The work is expected to be completed by Tuesday, 14 October, at 5pm.
During this period, the bridge will not be operable, as the hydraulic components are being replaced.
