Contractors are currently on site and working to remove the fallen trees obstructing navigation at Grendon Bridge.
We are aiming to have the route cleared by the end of the day,

Please be advised that navigation is currently blocked at Bridge 49, Grendon Bridge on the Coventry Canal due to fallen trees from the offside bank.
We have contacted our contractors and are working closely with them to resolve the obstruction and restore navigation as quickly and safely as possible.
Storm Amy has caused significant disruption across the network, resulting in a high number of incidents involving fallen trees and vegetation. Our teams are prioritising safety and responding to issues as quickly as resources allow.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to reopen the affected route.
