Please note the towpath is also closed.

We will re-open the navigation and the towpath as soon as we receive further guidance from the police.

Please be advised that, following a request from the police, navigation through Ryders Green Lock Flight to Ocker Hill is currently closed until further notice.

This closure is to allow for a police-led investigation in the area. We are working closely with the authorities and will reopen the waterway as soon as it is safe and appropriate to do so.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation. We will provide a further update once received from the police.
