We apologise for the need to add a navigation closure to carry out essential repairs on the lock. This has become necessary following damage caused to the cill by a boat strike. As a result, the planned lock gate stoppage at nearby Lock 7 will now commence on 10/11/2025 to open the navigation and provide a 10-day window for boat movements between stoppages.
