Between Lock 92 & bridge 100

Third-party contractors will be onsite between Lock 92 & bridge 100 on the Rochdale Canal to carry out necessary vegetation works and to repair the missing and displaced brickwork on the two railway structures. 

These works will be will be undertaken on the consecutive Saturday nights & Sunday mornings from Saturday 8th November until Sunday 30th November. 

Whilst both the towpath and navigation will remain open, we would ask all customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.

Passage may be subject to slight delays to allow the third-party contractors to allow safe passage.
