Please be aware that navigation between Lock 15 and Lock 18 on the Ashton Canal will be closed on Thursday 2nd October while we carry out essential works.
A faulty head paddle needs attention, and our local team will be entering the water to investigate. If possible, we aim to complete the repair while the lock is drained to minimise disruption.
We'll provide a further update later in the day once investigations are complete.
