Due to an HGV collision near Chelston Road Wharf Bridge, a large amount of diesel has entered the canal. West Midlands Fire Service is currently managing the incident.
Navigation at Aston Lock Flight is already closeddue to low water levels. We remind all boaters to refrain from travelling through this area.
