As part of the ongoing National Grouting Programme, lock grouting works are scheduled to take place at Lock 7, Railway Lock from Monday 29th September to Thursday 23rd October.
These works will involve the injection of grout from the towpath side of the lock chamber wall to a depth of up to 3 metres, aimed at sealing leakage into the Cadent Gas compound.
Cadent Gas will be working in collaboration with the Canal & River Trust to ensure the protection and integrity of Cadent's infrastructure throughout the duration of the project.
Please note that a navigation closure is already in place due to low water levels. Further information regarding this closure can be found here.
