We have unfortunately had to delay these works to start on the 2nd of March 2026.

This closure has been extended to the 24th of November. We have attached a photo of the diversion route.

Diversion route for closure duration.
Due to the narrow width of the towpath, to allow maintenance works carried be safely carried out the towpath will need to be closed.
The works are leakage path closure within the embankment of which the towpath is situate on.
A diversion route is available and signage will be installed by our Contractors.
