Due to continuing low water levels, this closure has been extended from Hallam Fields Lock 66 to Sandiacre Lock 63. Our team are continuing to work hard to restore levels.

We will update this notice once we have further information.

Due to low water levels between Hallam Fields Lock https://w3w.co/motion.sticks.hello downstream to Stanton Lock https://w3w.co/return.puts.rushed we have had to temporarily close this section of the Erewash Canal. Team members are working to restore levels as soon as possible.

Boaters are asked not to navigate this section whilst water levels are allowed to recover. We will update this Notice as soon as we have further information.
