Navigation Closure - Lee Navigation, Lock 10, Waltham Common Lock and Lock 9, Cheshunt Lock, Cheshunt

Unfortunately we've had to move this closure ahead of schedule based upon new data from the Environment Agency. We will closing all navigation between Lock 10 and Lock 9 from the 20th of August at 15:30pm and reopening at 27th of August at 09:00am.

We will be reviewing this closure on a day by day basis.

We'll update on the Morning of the 26th of August with further information around the closure.

A navigation restriction is needed to undertake joint Investigation work between The Canal and River Trust and the Environment Agency to specify causes of an issue in this location.

We will be locking up at 15:30 and opening at 9:00 for one week starting on the 27th August.

Be aware that Lock 9 and Lock 10 will be locked up between 15:30 and 09:00 every morning, and so boaters should take this into account when moving. Please be patient if we take a little longer to open in the morning.
