We are happy to advise the lock has now re-opened to all vessels.
Update 28 July 2025, 2:11pm
Following monitoring of the lock, please be aware the lock will be closed with the exception of assisted passage on 29th July 2025 between 10:00 and 12:00, after which it will remain closed until further notice.
Unfortunately it is not possible to provide other times for assisted passage beyond this date.

Following a further assessment of the lock, please be advised the lock will be closed to both Narrow Beams and Wide Beams.

Please be advised that narrow beams will be able to use the lock, however access is fully restricted for wide beam vessels.

Due to a broken balance beam the lock is closed whilst we undertake an assessment and repair.
