Descriptions

Update 28 July 2025, 4:31pm

Contractors have attended site and have advised that when it is used for passage that it is only opened to the height needed to safely pass under. The bridge is becoming stuck when it is opened fully to the 90 degree angle. To keep the bridge operational, we ask that skippers of all crafts adhere to this instruction of not opening the bridge to its full extension. Contractors are attending to the bridge tomorrow to carry out further inspection and checks to the bridge.
