Over the last two years, planned work on the River Soar over the winter period has been severely impacted by flooding.
To give us the best chance of completing the planned double lock gate replacement at Kegworth Lock we are moving this work forward to start on 1st September, when we expect the conditions to be better and the weather to be more reliable, whilst avoiding the busier school holidays.
We plan to complete the work by 24th October.
