A large tree has fallen across the navigation obstructing boat traffic. Tree surgeons are currently being organised to attend site and remove the tree. An update will be posted as soon as the tree has been removed and the canal is back open to navigation.
The towpath is not obstructed by the fallen tree and pedestrian access along the towpath is still possible.
