A Third party will be doing various eel surveys in the Grand Union Canal, which is a requirement for eel screening. The Environment Agency are aware. They will be placing a fyke net in the navigation to enable this. This navigation closure will run from 9am on the 10th November through to 1pm on the 11th November 2025.
