Please be advised our reactive response team is now scheduled to attend tomorrow (Tuesday 8th July) to assess the situation and develop a suitable repair plan for the failed lock beam at Lock 10 on the Aston Flight.
In the meantime, navigation remains possible via the alternative route at Garrison Locks.

Please be advised that Lock 10 on the Aston Flight remains closed to navigation due to a lock beam failure.
Following our initial assessment, the repair will require further input from our reactive response team. We are currently arranging the necessary resources and equipment, and we anticipate being on-site to carry out the repair work on Monday.
A further update will be provided on Monday once our team has attended and assessed the next steps.
In the meantime, navigation remains possible via the alternative route at Garrison Locks.

Please be advised that navigation is closed at Lock 10 on the Aston Flight due to a lock beam failure.
The repair requires additional equipment, and our team are unable to attend today. However, we will be on-site first thing tomorrow to begin the necessary work, and a further update will be provided following our assessment.
In the meantime, an alternative route is available via Garrison Locks near Saltley.
