The towpath is closed between Bridge 1B, Lyons Bridge and Lock 1, Poolstock Locks on the Leigh Branch of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to a partial collapse of a third party owned building.
The local authority have installed barriers to ensure the safety of our customers.
Whilst navigation remains open, please pass through the area with care and listen to any advice that may be given onsite.
