Completed: Following the replacement of the pump, the water levels are now beginning to recover between Long Eaton Lock 61 and Trent Lock 60 on the Erewash canal. We will continue to monitor the situation, please navigate with care.

A pump failure has impacted water levels between Long Eaton Lock and Trent Lock on the Erewash Canal. The pump is currently being replaced and we are working hard to restore the levels.
Please do not navigate this stretch until the water levels are restored. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update this notice as soon as we have any further information.
