Due to ongoing emergency works in the North West region, navigation through the Lock 64, Saw Pit Lock - Off Side remains closed. Works to carry out the repair have been planned for late July.
Whilst navigation is still possible through the Towpath Side Lock, please note that this lock will also be closed to navigation between 7am until 5pm on Thursday 3 July. Notification of this can be found here:

Our specialist team have unfortunately been delayed in attending site as they have been busy dealing with other emergency's across the North West.
The towpath side lock 64 remains open.
A further update will be provided Thursday 19 June.

Due to issues with both paddles on the offside of Lock 64, the lock cannot currently be operated safely.
We kindly ask customers to use the towpath side of the lock while our teams investigate the cause and carry out necessary repairs.
