We've received an update from the team. A new gate is required to complete the necessary repairs. This gate will be ready for collection from our Bradley workshop on Tuesday.

We plan to transport the gate using a tug and hopper, with installation scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday next week (11 - 13 June). Subject to the successful completion of the works, we aim to reopen navigation on Friday 13th June.

Please be advised that navigation at Wolverhampton Lock flight is currently closed. The top end gate has sustained damage, with a suspected failure of the heel post.

Our team will be attending the site later today to assess the situation and develop a repair plan. We will provide a further update on the status of repairs tomorrow.
