Bridge 1, Manchester Road Bridge

Following an on-site review, we are pleased to confirm that these works can now be completed within a shorter timeframe. The works will take place over two week-long stoppages, scheduled for 16–20 February and 2–6 March.

A navigation and towpath closure are required for a full hydraulic and electrical replacement. These works require a full closure of the bridge and adjacent lock.
