Update 21 November 2025, 2pm

We are pleased to confirm that the works at Woodend Lift Bridge have been completed and the navigation is now open.

Update 3 October 2025, 4:14pm

Following a recent review, we're now confident that the works can be completed within a shorter stoppage window. The revised stoppage dates are 17 November 2025 to 05 December 2025.

A navigational closure is required for bridge lifting frame modifications. Elements of the bridge will be removed and modified but unfortunately the bridge can not be left in open position.
