Descriptions

Update 14 November 2025, 3:44pm

The contractor responsible for constructing the HS2 viaduct over the Oxford Canal has informed us that the works can no longer be carried out on the previously advertised dates.  This is due to delays in the manufacture and delivery of parapet components. As a result, the stoppage is now rescheduled to take place from 2nd March to 13th March 2026.

Original 7 May 2025, 3:28pm

A navigation and towpath closure are required for construction works for a new high speed 2 railway viaduct.
