Bridge 59A, Armitage

Unfortunately, there have been delays in obtaining the necessary approvals from Network Rail to carry out the works beneath their bridge. All required information has been submitted to Network Rail, and we are ready to mobilise as soon as approval is granted. Our intention remains to complete the works by the end of the stoppage notice (12/12/2025). However, there will be a delay to the start date, which is currently expected to be the week commencing 24/11/2025 at the earliest. We will provide a further update confirming the start date once permission is received from Network Rail. We acknowledge that we should have informed our boating customers sooner and sincerely apologise for both this oversight and the delay in commencing the stoppage.
