Please be advised that following planned inspection works through Albert Street Cutting the Trust has taken the decision to close the towpath and navigation with immediate effect in the interest of public safety.
We are working with colleagues to ensure that remedial work to enable us to safely re-open the towpath and navigation is carried out as soon as possible.
