Please be advised that the towpath between Twyford's Lock and Bridge 106 (Hem Heath Bridge) will be closed from 20th January 2025 to 27th June 2025 for essential improvement works. These works will include localized repairs to the existing towpath and the installation of new tar spray and chip surfacing along a 5km stretch of the Trent & Mersey Canal in Stoke. The aim is to enhance the experience for all users.
To minimise disruption, we will close only short sections of the towpath at a time. We kindly ask all users to follow the relevant signage during this period.
