We're here for your first glimpse of a kingfisher, your first catch, for feeding the ducks with dad, and to make sure your canal is there for you.

Canals are vitally important for wildlife, providing homes and habitats for endangered water voles, beautiful kingfishers and much-loved ducks. Our 2,000 miles of waterways bring the countryside into the heart of our cities, so that we can all feel the benefits of spending time in nature.

Every day, we're working for your canals, from repairing lock gates and aqueducts, to teaching children new skills and helping nature thrive.
