The Water Management Team tell us about the Peter Wolf Symposium, a conference for early career hydrologists, recently hosted by the Trust. The event was an opportunity for attendees to learn about other science in the field, practice their presentational skills and meet other like-minded scientists.

The latest edition of Boaters' Update has a watery feel to it. Specifically, what we're doing to conserve it on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, how to keep your water tank clean and composting toilets on boats (OK, that last one is actually more about something that usually uses water but not in this case!)

The picturesque Cotswold village of Gretton became the location for a family science event on 7th July. Hosted by the Cheltenham Science Group, the Canal & River Trust Education Team were invited to bring along their popular STEM activities used for school visits and workshops at the National Waterways Museum Gloucester.

I recently met up with a group of 'whippersnappers' who each in their different ways have found fishing to be a wonderful tool for their personal health and wellbeing.
