The route

1. Begin your walk at the transhipment warehouse near Bingswood Avenue
2. Walk along the canal from the wooden footbridge to Bridge 37
3. Continue along the towpath, enjoying views of the River Goyt, until you reach Bridge 56
4. Walk until you reach the canal junction with the Bugsworth Arm and see the row of canalside cottages
5. Follow the Bugsworth Arm until you reach Bugsworth Basin.
