From homes and lives of the past to the atmospheric history of WWII, the National Waterways Museum offers a wide range of hands-on learning opportunities for students of all ages.

The National Waterways Museum:

Our school and group visits can be tailored to meet your requirements and we are also happy to welcome groups who have planned their own activities.

Teachers' visits

We offer free teachers visits for you and a colleague to help plan your visit. A member of our bookings team will be happy to meet with you and discuss your requirements if you wish. Please contact the museum to arrange (details above).

Admission, per pupil: £4

Reduced admission (local rate), per pupil: £1.50

Teachers/Accompanying Adults: Free Admission

Activity Sessions: £1.00 per pupil

Learning Tours: £1.00 per pupil

Demonstrations: £1.00 per pupil

Boat trip: £1.00 per pupil

 Explorers Backpack Trail: Free of charge
