Play your part in maintaining our waterways heritage by volunteering with Gloucester Waterways Museum
Our committed team of volunteers are at the heart of our museum. Many of them, such as our engineering and maintenance gang, utilise their knowledge and experience to help keep our fleet of floating exhibits in tip top condition.
Our Boat Crafters' Group demonstrate traditional waterways crafts such as bonnet-making, spiderweb stitching and rag rugging.
Other volunteers help out on our reception desk and shop, aboard our boats, maintaining our internal displays and as part of our education programme for schools and families.
Whatever your interests and experience we'd love to hear from you. Get in touch by telephoning 01452 318200.
You can also find out about other volunteering opportunities with the Canal & River Trust by taking a look at our dedicated volunteer pages.
