We love and care for your canals and rivers, because everyone deserves a place to escape.

Get involved at Foxton Locks

Meet our fantastic team of 40 volunteer lock keepers who are on duty to help and keep you safe on your passage through the locks. But there are loads of other volunteering opportunities for you to get involved...

Our volunteers also cut the grass, clear the woods, grease the lock mechanisms, paint the gates and benches and many more important jobs that make sure Foxton remains one of our featured places to visit. We couldn’t continue to care for our wonderful waterways without them.
