Earlswood Lakes consist of three attractive reservoirs in a pleasant wooded setting. Each reservoir is 22 acres in size.
Terry’s pool is a natural fishery known for its large carp, eels and good heads of pike. Fishing is only allowed from the head bank adjoining Engine pool, the rest of the lake being a nature reserve.
Engine pool is heavily stocked with carp and bream ranging from 1lb to 20 lbs. The pool can become very busy, especially during the summer period. Fishing matches take place most weekends throughout the year. The current match record is 414 lbs, but pleasure anglers regularly catch in excess of this during the summer.
The final reservoir, Windmill pool, also shares the water with the local sailing club. Windmill pool is known mainly for its catches of bream and skimmers during the warmer months and the excellent pike fishing during the winter months.
Stocked with carp, bream, roach, perch, pike and eels.
Situated near to the village of Earlswood off the A4102 from Solihull.
Parking is available in the main anglers car park in Wood Lane from dawn until dusk. Alternative parking is available in the Malthouse Lane car park, which has a barrier height of two metres and is open from 8.30am until 30 minutes before sunset.
Please note that night fishing is not permitted at any of the lakes at Earlswood.
